Starting off our hike at the Palm Canyon Trailhead.
Sun setting on the rocky mountains
Casey trying to figure out the trail.
The water was flowing rather well.
A few wildflowers were present.
The first palm grove.
Looking up while in the palm grove.
Interesting palm leaf.
Crazy spikes on the plant.
Trail running along side the stream.
There were about 100 stream crossings on this hike.
The trail was overgrown or difficult to find most of the time.
Sometimes there was no trail, only lots of rocks.
Casey snapping a pic.
Another palm grove.
Rock resembling a bird.
The rocks have unusual colors (this one looks like a planet).
There was a decent waterfall just out of view here.
The next morning, the fog rolled in (along with rain).
Looking down the canyon at some scattered palms (with Casey in the lower right corner).
The rocks were slippery.
and the water was flowing.
Still on the trail.
Back at the camp as the sun broke out from behind the clouds.
The trail again
Wet and nearly back to the trailhead.
