Arrived at Big Bend and found a parking spot near the campsite.
The campsite was in the foot hills of the Chisos mountains.
Turns out the spot where we pitched our tent wasn't actually where we were supposed to camp. Oh well.
The vegatation was not friendly.
On Pine Canyon Trail where desert starts to change to forrest.

From the coloration, appears this is a waterfall if there is ever rain. Cliffs were about 100 foot tall.
I was a little scared to crawl into the cracks in the rocks.
Everything around us was bathed in a bright orange. I truned around to see some amazing colors.

South Rim really was amazing.
